A Day With surprise
Saturday,August 16th,2008 was a surprising day in a life of daily bus commuters on Hadapsar-Nigdi route.Since it was a part of weeklong holiday,no rush was there on the citybus stand,no passengers waiting to catch the bus as soon it arrives in the stand.Even the bus left at sharp correct time & the conductor was quite co-operative(surprise!) asking the fellow passengers in a very sweet tone to tender the change of money for their respective tickets.We missed the growlling conductor literally threatening the passengers to get down if they do not have change.There was no traffic on the signal and the road also(Surprise!!),no bike drievrs exhibiting his nail biting driving skills at the cost of others ,no four wheelers,no itruders on BRT(whole lot of surprises!!!).I was shocked most at the time of alighting on stop when I had look at my watch.It was barely 55 minutes I'd taken to reach Chinchwad station stop unlike 90minutes+ usually. I hope this surprise bounty will be repeated
